The Industry Office desk, located in the Palazzo Sopracenerina courtyard in Piazza Grande, is the information center for professionals from the film industry.
The Industry Guide, with a list and contacts of all professional visitors to the 2011 Festival, is distributed to all accredited Industry attendees and will be available on this webpage from beginning of August.
Industry Screenings The Industry Office offers buyers, sellers and producers an opportunity to organise Industry Screening to support and encourage film sales. Only films selected for one of the competitions or the Piazza Grande are eligible, and must have English subtitles for Industry Screenings. Access to Industry Screenings is exclusively reserved for those with Industry accredited delegates, with priority given to buyers. The Industry Office is responsable for programming Industry Screenings, authorising entry to the screenings and informing Industry accredited delegates of screening times via email. Sellers and producers may request a list of professionals who have attended their film at Industry screenings.
In order to facilitate convenient viewing of the majority of titles in the official selection, the Industry Office provides a Digital Library. Situated on the right of the entrance to the L’Altra Sala theater, the Digital Library will be open from Wednesday 3 August to Saturday 13 August 2011 from 10 am to 7.30 pm. Access is reserved for accredited industry professionals and the press. The Digital Library has 20 viewing stations connected to a central server that allows you to watch films on a digital format; on the same interface you can also get information regarding the film. Places must be reserved in advance. The Industry Office can also supply information regarding the various professionals and journalists who have viewed titles, while complete copies of press coverage of each film in the official selection can be obtained from the Press Office on request.
